When you remove a domain from Cloudflare, it also disables Cloudflare’s DNS resolution for your domain. To prevent DNS errors, update your nameservers at your domain registrar to use non-Cloudflare nameservers.
Always change the nameservers first from Cloudflare to your desired NS at your registar end, this will reduce the downtime.
For disabling Cloudflare for your Domain, you can follow the below steps:
Step 1: Login to your domain registrar end.
Step 2: Go to Domains and select the domain name for which you want to disable Cloudflare for.
Step 3: Go to the Manage Nameservers of the selected domain.
Step 4: Replace the Cloudflare nameservers with the nameservers you want and then Click the Change Nameservers button.
Step 5 : After that go to <https://dash.cloudflare.com/login>.
Log into your Cloudflare account.
Step 6 : In the Home section, click on the domain that you want to disable Cloudflare for
Step 7: Scroll down to the Advanced Actions section and click the option to Remove Site from Cloudflare.
Step 8:
Click on the Confirm button, on the window that pops up to remove the site from Cloudflare.
